The Booster Club Scholarships

The Lake Park Booster Club is pleased to offer a minimum of two $1,000 scholarships to candidates that meet a set of established criteria. Every year, at least one male and one female Lake Park student-athlete will be awarded a scholarship.

The number of scholarships awarded will be dependent upon availability of funds and the number of applicants applying for scholarship consideration.  Final determination will be made by the Lake Park Booster Club Board.

Criteria for the scholarship applicants appear in the list that follows which is current as of February 2010. Lake Park Booster Club Scholarship Qualifications are listed below:

Qualifications

The Lake Park Booster Club will award the scholarships based on merit. The applicant names will not be revealed to the Booster Board scholarship committee members evaluating the scholarship applications or to Board members making the final scholarship decisions.

It is anticipated the announcement for the Booster Club scholarships will be made each year during March or early April. Booster Club scholarship applications will be due by late April each year. The specific application due date will be announced each year well in advance. Applicants will return completed packets to the Margie Frank in the Career Center.

Scholarship winners will be announced at the annual Scholarship and Awards Night held in May each year.
